Biography
Rapper Zipz was born Aaron L. Gibson on February 28, 1987 in Gary, IN. Gary a city of poverty, where drugs, gangs, and violence are epidemic, Zipz was raised in a family of five which includes himself, two sisters, mother and father. He has been creating music since he was ten and is considered today as a very inspiring and unique rapper. Local talent in his city boast about his music being uplifting and ferocious to others. He’s currently working on a mixtape, performing at local venues, gaining exposure.
Zipz has been traveling to different cities recording with new up and coming artist, planning tours, and opening up for celebrities stars such as Katie Got Bandz, Joe Budden, and Que. Owning his own label Gifted Star Productions, which was launched in 2014 and Affiliated with JMD Music Group. New mixtape Gifted Star and From The Trap 2 Rap has been surfacing through the streets also played on airwaves, sold in local barber shops, record stores, and community businesses.
As CEO of Gifted Star Productions and Co-Owner of JMD Music Group this artist is seen as talented and very cultured with expanding his career to hit hip hops mainstream. Zipz is looking forward to remain independent or grasp a distribution deal with a major label and become one of hip hops greatest.
